Welcome and thank you for registering as a Trader at the Nicholson Makers & Growers Market (formerly Twin Rivers Lions Market) through Ozee Markets Booking Manager.  We look forward to another successful market season 2023! 

Our market location has expanded next door into the Nicholson Primary School grounds and will also include the Hall and grounds surrounding the hall when necessary.  This space is in addition to the Nicholson Reserve (fenced).  We expect this additional space will enable our market days to proceed in a modified version in inclement weather (ie when the fenced reserve is too wet to use, all traders will be located on the entire school property).

Plan for Market Days:

Plan A: ALL TRADERS will be located on the fenced reserve on a "first in first placed" basis; with generators located together where possible away from the community space.

Plan B: When fenced reserve is UNUSABLE instead of cancelling market, we will RELOCATE the market to the Nicholson School grounds, hall and grounds outside the hall.  ADVANCE NOTICE will be emailed to all traders booked including instructions for BUMP IN.

PROPERTIES - to ensure ongoing use of these two public spaces we ask everyone to be careful and respectful of the grounds and trees.  Please do not try to pull branches off trees for the sake of your stall site - just move a bit to ensure your marquee is clear of other structures and vegetation.

BUMP IN 6am to 7.30am (fenced Nicholson Reserve)

Site allocation on arrival of each trader will be based on "first in first served" to ensure there are no gaps throughout the market. Traders will be allocated a site by the MARSHALL (yellow high-vis vest).  Traders with generators where possible will be located together to ensure all generators are located away from the public area.

EXTREME HEAT & WET WEATHER POLICIES - will be emailed to all current market traders 

RESPECTFUL BEHAVIOR is expected from all traders and their team members.  Any perceived unacceptable behavior or conversation will be referred to the Twin Rivers Lions Club President.  If the situation is unresolvable, the person will be asked to leave the grounds and forfeit their site fee.

We are in the process of updating the Market Rules and Conditions (2 documents) - Once revision is complete, Admin will email all traders with the 2023 version as well as uploading it to this platform.

To confirm your site, whether for the first time, casual or permanent trader, online payment prior to 5pm Monday prior to the market date. Once processed you will receive a confirmation email outlining the date you booked and payment receipt.

FIRST TIME BOOKING INTO ONE OF OUR MARKETS?

It is important that you book and pay through the Ozee Markets Booking Manager link, choose the NICHOLSON MAKERS & GROWERS MARKET, and follow the steps for payment. MARKET DATES

First Saturday of each month September to June 8am to 1pm (winter recess July and August)

BUMP IN - minimum 2 hours prior to market start time (traders gate closed 30 minutes prior to market opening time). Please follow instructions from your MARSHALL (yellow high viz vest).  Any issues the Marshall is unable to easily resolve, he/she will phone the Twin Rivers Lions Club President requesting attendance for purpose of resolution.  The President's decision is final.
