Friday Flow is organised by the River of Life Festival Association for the purpose of providing social and community interaction. We aim to promote healthy living, providing alcohol free beverages and healthy food for sale. We promote arts in the community and will be hosting an open mic stage. Friday Flow will be collaborating with different members of the community including cultural groups.

From 1st August 2025, Friday Flow is held fortnightly, 5pm-8:30pm with live music and free activities for children including art and lawn games. This is a social event and stalls are invited to take advantage of the crowd and attend in their own interest. We have no market manager. If you desire to attend, you will require to be self-managed.

Self managed means -  River of Life Festival Association is not available to facilitate changes or answer questions as we don’t have enough human resources. Bookings will only be accepted through Ozee Markets online booking system. Although some power is available onsite (see map), no electricity is promised or checked. Stall holders must find their own positions using the map. No one will be onsite to answer questions or solve problems. No traffic management. Any complaints regarding grounds to be directed to Mackay Regional Council. Festoon lights will provide lighting in the evening but stalls are responsible for lighting their own merchandise. Friday Flow will not be advertised as a market, marketers are responsible for their own promotions.

Weather events - Friday Flow will go ahead in light rain. Refunds will not be given for light rain. Stalls in the undercover stage area will still require marquees as the roof leaks. The public and stall holders will be notified via a facebook post on the River of Life Facebook page by 1pm if the event is cancelled due to heavy rain or wild weather and refunds will be given. It is your responsibility to check the facebook page for cancellations. You will not be contacted privately. Refunds or part refunds will also be given if the event is forced to close early due to bad weather.

No parking on grass, equipment will have to be carried across the lawn.
