South African Heritage Day is celebrated on 24 & 25 September at The Entrance Lake House.
On this day, South Africans are encouraged to celebrate their culture and the diversity of their beliefs and traditions, in the wider context of a nation that belongs to all its people.
We call on all South Africans living in Greater Sydney, Central Coast and Newcastle to join us for a day to remember and celebrate the joys of everything special that made being South African great.
From Boerwors to Bunny chows, Windhoek to Klipdrift, ProNutro to Pap, we are souring the products, brands and food you loved as a kid.
Bring your Australian mates to introduce them to Melktart, Bobotie, Biltong, koeksisters and Castle Lager. We have Pinotage and Buiten Blanc ready to be served with your South African meal of choice will you unwind to Mshoza, Miriam Makeba and Johnny Clegg with friends.
The Entrance Lake House kitchen will serve a South African menu all Friday and Saturday, with a dedicated South African Flea Market on Saturday from 9am to 5pm with Live Music.
We will add store holders name and products below as we add them to the list.
